John Albert Bauer (1882 – 1918) was a Swedish painter and illustrator mainly for books and magazines.

The majority of these Bauer illustrations included in this ebook are taken from various volumes of Bland Tomtar och Troll (Among Gnomes and Trolls). This was a popular Swedish folklore and fairy tale annual published during the early 1900s. His unique style and characterful images brought to life these little know tales.

This superb collection contains 117 pages of Bauer’s colour illustrations. All the images have been cleaned and restsored by our studio and are presented in this specially produced PDF ebook. All of the illustrations are embedded in the PDF ebook in high resolution (300 dpi, large file size) for high quality print reproductions or to copy and use in your own projects.
